On behalf of the Coquitlam JR Adanacs, we would like to welcome you to the 2023 JR B2 Provincial Tournament!
RULES
BCLA and CLA rules apply to Provincial Play-offs with the following exceptions:
a) Home team will be dark (and away white). Each team must have two (2) sets of jerseys. In the event of a jersey conflict as identified by the officials, the home team will change jerseys.
b) Warm-up Allocation: A 30-minute warm-up will be provided before the beginning of each game.
c) Game Slot: Games will be set in 21⁄2 hour slots of time in the schedule.
d) Games must be played to conclusion (60 minutes of regulation time).
e) Round-robin games can end as a tie. There shall be no overtime in Round-robin play.
f) Overtime will be played to break ties in the Medal games only. The format is:
First OT ... 2-minute break followed by a full 10-minute stop time overtime
Second OT ... if the teams are still tied, 2-minute break followed by a 20-minute stop time sudden victory overtime
Third etc. OT ... if the teams are still tied, 10-minute break followed by a 20-minute stop time sudden victory overtime
g) Mercy Rule: If a team is winning a game by 10 goals or more the timekeeper will discontinue entering additional goals on the main clock. If the losing team scores goals, they may be added as they occur. Please note that goals are always recorded on the score sheet under these circumstances. As well, running time will apply.
