WCJLL PLAYOFF FORMAT
The West Coast Junior Lacrosse League (WCJLL) playoff format mirrors that of the British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League (BCJALL) whereas the format will see the top four Clubs in the League qualify for playoffs when the WCJLL does not host the British Columbia Junior B Tier 2 Provincial Tournament. The WCJLL playoff series will be the best-of-three affairs.
In the First Round (Semi-Final), the League winner and team with the best record will be matched against the Fourth Place team (1st vs. 4th). The second and third-place teams within the League will also meet in the First Round (2nd vs. 3rd). The highest seeded team in either playoff series will be declared the home team and will have the first and third (if needed) games of the series at their arena while the lowest seeded team will have the second game at their arena.
First-round (Semi-Final) winning Clubs will advance to the WCJLL Championship Series. Home floor advantage for the WCJLL Championship goes to the Club that placed higher in regular season standings. The Final Championship series will be another best-of-three affair.
The Club that wins the Final Series will be declared the WCJLL Champion and the 2nd place team will be declared the Runners Up. Both teams will advance to the British Columbia Junior B Tier 2 Lacrosse Provincial Championships.
The West Coast Junior Lacrosse League will host these Championships every other year and the Pacific Northwest Junior Lacrosse League will host these Championships in other years; until such time as another Tier 2 League is declared in British Columbia.
